Biography
Yvonne Seng holds a PhD from the University of Chicago from the Dept of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations in Islamic History. She is a cultural historian specializing in the Middle East and Turkey. Based in Washington, DC, she has taught courses on peace studies at American University and on religion, history and Islamic culture at Wesley Theological Seminary and Georgetown and Princeton Universities. She has worked and traveled widely in the Middle East.
